Can I hook this light up directly to my eBike battery?

All our lights have internal batteries and are rechargeable through USB-C, so if your bike has a USB output and you want to Pass-Thru Charge while riding to extend runtime, you can just plug it in and be good to go! More and more eBikes are adding USB-C outputs for accessories, but we understand not all current eBikes do. Unfortunately, wiring our USB-C lights directly to the high-voltage eBike battery will not only void every bike manufacturer's warranty everywhere, it will also fry electronics designed for low-voltage USB input, so we strongly recommend not taking clippers and soldering irons to your eBike in the name of longer light runtime.
